This wonderful book written by local people telling the history of Epping Green and Epping upland, is real work of genius.
Ann & Valarie, have created an incredibly interesting book
about our village and surrounding areas. The writing is in an easy
conversational style and is a great read for anyone interested in the
village. There are some amazing photo's the one's I particularly like are:
Children dancing around the maypole on page 63, not a designer trainer in sight!
The Travellers Friend pub on page 41, no cars!
A view of the village on page 7, almost unrecognisable! No Traffic!
At a price of only £8.95, this book is great value for money, and would make a great gift for anyone that would always remain fresh.
