Parish Council News
EPPING UPLAND PARISH COUNCIL
Seven Parish Councillors meet six times a year to discuss various local Governmental issues connected to Epping Upland, Essex. The Council is responsible for the village green, the playground, allotment gardens, Parish burial ground and is in regular contact with Epping Forest District Council to regulate highways issues, as well as public footpaths, police liason, passenger transport, local mobile library and planning applications, to name but a few topics.
A Village sign was erected on the Village Green as part of the Millennium celebrations.
Parish Council meetings are held in Epping Green Chapel at 8.00 pm and all members of the public and invited to attend to observe. Any major issues can be discussed with any Councillor by prior arrangement.
